Join us for out second week of summer camp full of fun and educational activities at the Manatee Center. This week we will investigate the great outdoors along the coast with canoeing at the Environmental Learning Center and visiting with St. Lucie 4H. Monday will be a fun-filled day at the Manatee Center with a pizza party; Tuesday we'll have a bus visit to the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) for some fun canoeing to investigate thriving ecosystems, diverse wildlife and hidden mangrove tunnels. Wednesday will be a fun day at Museum Pointe Park with seining and a walking tour of the FPUA Water Reclamation Plant and learn how microorganisms removes wastes that are in the water; Thursday will be a bus trip to a hands-on adventure with 'donkeys, goats, quails oh my' at St. Lucie 4H; Friday will be a fun day full of activities at Jaycee Park.
Cost for the camp is $175 and begins at 8:45am to 2:00pm. Lunch (Pizza) is provided on Mondays. Snacks will be provided daily.
