The Manatee Center hosts Indian River Lagoon Wildlife Boat Tours year round. Feel the wind in your hair as you cruise on the Indian River Lagoon, aboard the Gator, a 34 passenger covered pontoon boat. During the 90 minute tour participants may catch a glimpse of fish, birds, manatees, dolphin and more. With Captain Barry "Chop" Legé and his knowledgeable crew at the helm, participants will learn about birds, marine mammals such as dolphin and manatees, the natural and cultural history of the Indian River Lagoon, and the ecology and habitats of the Lagoon, including sea grasses.
